Overview
Students will have completed their individual projects and these will be presented together as a class exhibit on a digital platform or in a physical space. (Make decisions and choices as needed based on your class.)
In addition to preparing the space for the class exhibit, several decisions can be taken by the class:
● Name of the exhibit
● Who the exhibit will be open to (for example, only the class, the entire school community or even publicly open to the world community!).
● How the exhibit will be launched.
Below are some ideas for the official launch:
Students can create a presentation for their official launch. Some ideas include:
● There can be a designated student or students who open up the exhibit with a speech, in person or online. If digital, the opening can be live or pre-recorded.
● Students can share the stories that inspired their works of art. If digital, the shared stories can be live or pre-recorded.
● Students can discuss their art pieces. If digital, discussions can be live or pre-recorded. It may also be possible that students invite viewers into the discussion through the chosen software, such as Zoom.
● Students can create a speech, or dance, or theater monologue specifically to their peers around the world who are also facing challenges adjusting to the pandemic. If digital, the creative pieces can be live or pre-recorded.
